Thyroid Disorders

Like so many conditions, finding the underlying cause of a thyroid disorder is essential for healing. Your naturopath will look at the whole picture to discover an essential cause such as liver imbalance, adrenal exhaustion, mineral deficiency, digestive disorder, autoimmune condition, and vitamin deficiency.  Commonly, hypothyroid patients are found to have poor conversion of selenium and vitamin A. They are often found to have wheat intolerances that cause an increase in antibodies. Your naturopath will help to resolve these issues while strengthening the body’s natural vitality with therapies such as thyroid-specific botanicals and acupuncture.
